What is the matter with my A/C?

i have an A/C unit for my window, had it running all day yesterday and then late in the evening it started dripping water inside the house.so i put something under it so that it would lean back and drip out the back port like it should. then a bit later it started spitting out water droplets but still blowing cold air. so i turned it off and now today i am trying to turn it back on and its still spitting out water mist. wat the heck is up with this?
